Sniper/Assassin. When to use what

Which do you prefer for spinnerbaits, swim jigs and the like. And which do you prefer for weightless plastics? Does one offer better slack line sensitivity or less stretch than the other?

I have only tried the 15lb. Assassin and I can't quite figure what niche Sunline is trying to fill with Assassin. It's similar to Sniper in price and it is also a fairly soft fluoro. Assassin is a good quality line and I never had any issues, but it didn't offer enough difference to change from the Sniper that I have been fishing for about six years. I fish Shooter, SX1, and FX2 in a few situations, but Sniper is my go to line on most of my combos in circulation. Hopefully somebody on here has used the Assassin in more sizes and can offer more help.
