Most manageable fluorocarbon?
Re: Most manageable fluorocarbon?
All my fluorocarbon lines became very manageable after removing them from the reels and throwing them in the trash where they belong.

Should have kept the stuff makes great backing for braid.LowRange wrote:All my fluorocarbon lines became very manageable after removing them from the reels and throwing them in the trash where they belong.

I haven't tried many, but I have a ton of Sniper spooled up on reels right now. I've really never had many bad experiences with it. Also had good luck with invisx in smaller lb test.

seaguar invizx
Re: Most manageable fluorocarbon?
I've been a Seaguar Invisx user for years, tried Sunline Sniper and didn't see any advantages. I currently am using Invisx 10lb on my Black Elsiel and believe this to be the perfect setup for everything that rod can do besides topwater.

Running 15 lb Invizx right now. Very manageable and surprisingly not terribly stretchy. Not crazy sensitive but pretty good for the price and it's readily available.

Agreed. InvizX has been pretty incredible for me so far

I use 7lb Sniper all the time and I have never had the issues that you claim that happens to Sniper.lifeofRiley wrote:There's no way I'd use sunline sniper. Its straight pull strength is fine but it kinks and snaps all the time. I have talked to many many people with the same experience. It's a terrible line. Sorry to all of you who swear it's great just because you paid $$$$ for it. Tatsu is the best fluoro if you're looking for limp and castable. Generally nylon is a better choice with the exception of certain presentations.
