Watch the bobber--it's going under--set the hook--you got me. Just ordered two spools of Maxima Braid High-Visibility from Hi's.
I'll report back later.

I just ordered a spool of 30 as well. I'll give it a shot for skipping jigs on my alphas sv.

Interesting thought, I really don't know. Sadly, I wasn't born a literal wizard, had to work haaaaard at it...walli wrote:What was that saying attributed to P.T. Barnum?.......
It read fresh, so I went with it.

I really like J braid. Don't know if it's any better than super slick, but they both work great and are way less expensive than samurai.

Got the Maxima today, so far so good.
The only thing I dislike first off is the color, its a light green color vs dark green.
It feels really waxy.
Will update after I get to use it for the first time.

One other thing that I would love it to see is maxima braid in 15lb.
Any idea what the brake lb is on 10lb and 20lb?
I been using Pline 15lb TCB 8 for a while now and its been good line, no problems except it does lose its coating rather quickly.
its not dyed, it the other heat coated stuff that flakes off, when I use it on my calcutta it really shows just how much crap comes off a line.
I will be fishing the maxima and pline together on my next outing, maxima 20lb on my CQ 101hg and Pline 15lb on my
metanium 13.
I filled both reels with new line.
In all honesty, I hope the maxima is better, even if it does cost more...
