i use 30# J-braid multi-color. No bleeding whatsoever. Also the color transitions, along with 1 m and 5 m black stripe marks,
makes it easy to tell how deep you are.

J-braid is much cheaper than powerpro and sufix 832

Worst line i've ever used in my life. Had it break multiple times.

After two months of regular use, this line is now in a dead heat for my favorite with the Sufix 832. Still smooth and silent and just soft enough to cast very well without line wraps as long as I'm careful. Not a break yet with the 15 pound test, including a 17 pound Northern, but then, I don't try to cross their eyes and prove I'm stronger than a fish 1/10 my size at the most.

Been punching, flipping, and frogging with the J-Braid regularly and so far it's on par with Daiwa Samurai (which I have as my top line EVER). One noticeable difference between J-Braid and Samurai -- the J-Braid seems to resist wind knots a bit better. It's just as soft as Samurai though.

The best part is that I have noticed NO color loss/bleeding, and after thumbing the spool all day, my thumb is not green at all. Samurai bled pretty bad, but J-Braid doesn't.

It is now my top line. I absolutely love it.

tufline xp is a 4 -6 strand line (depending on lb. test) and flatter.

I'm trying out the #20 on BFS reels and so far so good. The line comes off the spool smoothly and is manageable at high RPM.

Spooled up a pair of steez sv tw reels with 15lb.....Not bad stuff at all. IF it gets limper with alot of use...I most likely will toss it. But it handles beautifully. Put about 4 hours on it from 10 to 2am Even with brakes set to 2 tension wide open. And casting a1/8 oz minnow bait.

If i set it to 8...it's thumb free

The reel sounds impressive.

With an educated thumb it really plays nice with the light stuff with very good spinning rod type distance. Same easy distance as my avail spooled hedghog bearing mgx but it's silent...and a more solid reel and better drag.

I foresee a sell off of my met dc's and others.

I have 65 lb on my flipping stick , I like it a lot , really smooth and handles well..With one $15.00 spool I can put 50 yards on my flipping reel, 3 times. That's sweet !

I've been using 30lb J-Braid since the beginning of this year. Line is very quiet and smooth. Can cast very far with it. I still use PP, but J-Braid is my new favorite.

One of several brands I'm going to try next season... I have the 20lb. Multi color and have only lawn casted it so far...
I always end up going back to power pro after trying something else..
