Red Braid Line

I just picked up 30 lb and 40 lb PowerPro Vermillion red line off of the clearance section @ Dicks.
I've been using Green PowerPro without leader for Senko with great success and was wondering if switching to red would affect the catch rate. Anyone here have experience with red colored braid line?

i find no difference in line color....i like to use yellow PP or orange braid sufix on all my rods.

I also use red braid, but I use a leader. Still catches fish...

I had too many break offs upon hooksets when using fluoro or mono leaders. Maybe I am setting the hook too aggressively, or have the drag set too tight. Or maybe my uni-to-uni knot technique sucks...

What size leader do you use?

I have tried 10 lb P-Line CX and 12 lb Spiderwire fluoro. Both snapped during hookset with Senko.
Main line was 30 lb PowerPro.

I have tried Uni-to-Uni knot and also modified Albright knot with no success.

I ended up buying a chisel tip black Sharpie and painted about 3 feet of my yellow braid line.

I don't mind it I find the colour comes out alot faster for me, but I do like the hi-vis braids for ripping traps through the grass.

do you guys tie color braids directly to lures? i havent tried that before...
