sinking braid

Post by Jason Penn » Thu Mar 24, 2011 1:35 am

I'm looking for a sinking braid to put on my spinning reel, but i need hi-vis. The fluorobraid is only available in dark green (which I can not see) so it's out of the question. I haven't had much luck finding anything, anybody have some recommendations it would be much appreciated.

It's been one of the most dissappointing line development. I'll have to wait another ten years to see if they get it right. ](*,)

That's as close as you'll get for the time being.

YGK make G-Soul SS - a premium sinking braid in a visible colour. I have some on a Pixy & some about to be loaded onto an ultralite f/s reel.

It's nice stuff - I know it comes in at least 5 diameters from 8lb (PE 0.8) up to 20lb (PE 2.0) - a bit thicker than their G-Soul WX8, but that floats.

Hth, Kev.
