Braid or co-poly for traps in grass?
What line do you recommend specificly for ripping traps over/through grass. Rod will be fiberglass with a little faster tip(Dobyn's 705cb glass) Please list what # as well.

I like braid. You want the lure to "snap" from the grass, which often times triggers the reaction bite. Braid also cuts through the grass better. I use 40 or 50 lb Stren braid or Power Pro. I also use a Dobyns 705 Glass.

I use the 705 Glass with 17lb Berkley 100% flouro for traps in grass. Works well for me.

I fish pretty clear water so I use 14# Shooter.

deep grass,17lb. co-poly. shallow grass 30lb. braid.

30 pd. braid. When that bass nails you trap the line will just mow through the grass like a knife.
