Just purchased 6 - 10 pound line. Good Purchase? Salmon, Steelhead, Bass fishing.
If I can't catch it, it isn't worth catchin'

I've used it before for cranking. Decent selection. A lot like Yozuri hybrid.

I just suggested Izorline to the guy asking about line for finesse fishing. I've used XXX on my spinning reel for dropshotting and I like it. Going to try Platinum on the baitcaster this year as soon as it warms up.

I fish mostly baitcasters and have been using Izor Premium for 6-7 yrs now. The Premium is a hard finish line and it's tough, casts well, has great knot strength and consistent diameter. The XXX is Izor's soft finish version and may work better on spinning reels. The XXX, being softer, develops less spool memory than the Premium. Like most "families" of monofilament lines, the general attributes of Izor Premium versus XXX parallel those of brands like Trilene XT versus Trilene XL. Better than all the alternatives? Maybe not but IMO it's certainly competitive with the best. The real attraction for me is the excellent price you can buy a 1/4 lb spool of Izor for compared to its competitors.

Good stuff, pretty much all I use for crankbaits... sensitive, low stretch for mono, pretty durable too. Hard to find sometimes, at least locally but you can always get it online. I try to keep it simple, Izorline for cranks, Excel for any other mono needs, PPro for Braid, & Seaguar AbrazX for Flouro.
