Daiwa/SLP 1012 Magforce Z spool

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Anyone using this spool? Which reel, and how do you like it. I've only used the 1012SV version, not the Mag Z. I'm wondering how they compare. Is the Mag Z version less restricted and more consistent? I'm assuming it performs like the 1016 Mag Z spool, just less line capacity and can probably handle lighter weights.
