2024 Daiwa IMZ TW 200 The Bass IMZ is here

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

2 different gear ratios with better casting performance than Limitbreaker for lighter lure and a new PE long range mode

Daiwa is kicking Shimano ass so bad this year

Going to be a big fat nope from me. I appreciate that they are trying to innovate but I refuse to adopt daiwas digital braking technology unless they come out with a reel that doesn't require the use of an app on my phone. I have a feeling I am not the only one either. What they consider a feature I consider a flaw.

Will they work in the United States?
Any app restrictions as Limitbreaker has?

That's a no for me. I hate gimmicks.

Hard pass for me, as much as I enjoy Daiwa and really love the OG Z2020/Z200. Also, it appears that there is only about 90 minutes of power reserve/700 casts.

Here's a copy and paste of my input on the IMZ and comparison and contrast to an electric auto flushing toilet:

In regards to electric toilets...they serve their purpose quite frankly to its creator animal species that must naturally defecate in order to survive.

This said, these thinga-ma-bobs do not typically run out of poop-flushing power in less than an hour nor does it require a digital app in order to properly flush said dropped poopy.

My "Far Side" contribution for da day...
