2023 Shimano Curado

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Would just make sense if they drop the K and move over to the MGL and expand on that with different spool options.

Hoping before long to hear some leaks/news on the Stradic too. I really thought the Metanium might get an update, but release of a 2023 100 model in Japan has me doubting that.
I went to check possibility of some Shimano parts (putting a 90mm handle on a Conquest BFS) and noticed the 200K had a bunch of parts that were discontinued.

I saw the Stradics at 30% off just yesterday.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I know they're consolidating a lot of parts (reducing BNT numbers) internationally, so that could be as to why they're dropped off. Otherwise for a reel so current to be plagued with obsolete part numbers wouldn't be in Shimano's best interest.

I know this as I was ordering some parts for my Vanford and some parts out of the LRB were obsolete and moved over to the global RD numbering.

Must be a new one coming. Tackle Warehouse has them on closeout. Noticed the Tatula 100 on closeout also. No deals on the Curado K

There's definitely a new Stradic coming out--I feel like these get refreshed a lot more frequently than the Curados do...
