1016 spool

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

No, the t3 1016 spool is a little lighter.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

T3 1016 spool is really hard to find these days. Any suggestions?

I have sv103, sv105 and nrc001pg

T3 = Light standard depth Magforce-Z spool?

How about RCS 1016G1 spool instead of T3 spool?

I've used both a bunch. The Ryoga's spool is excellent, and for some reason i never seen anybody talking about it.

Ryoga 1016 spool should be very similar to RCS 1016G1, I think. Same material and both looks like same. Inductor looks same and I think also springs are same.

By lighter, I mean by less than 2 grams, iirc.

No it isn't but surely it's close to that. RCS spools are tuning spools.
My Alphas ct arrived with sticky inductor. I didn't want to send it back to Japan. I ordered RCS spool to it, hoping that will be a little lighter. Actually RCS spool is 0.1 or 0.2 grams heavier than standard one. I think it's exactly same spool but a little thicker (and different colour) paint.

My stock LIN10 spools feel overbraked but that could be the magnets. MB reels sometimes have stronger magnets than the Daiwas they are developed from. My T3 1016 spool looks and feels like my LIN10 spools but it is a freak of nature broken spool that is unusablly wild in any reel except my LINs where it needs the brake at 15 to be tamed and then it just dumps the spool of line with no effort. It now resides in a LIN10 Black Jungle on an Orochi X4 711 for deep crank use. Other spools get swapped in for pitching plastics and jigs if only to switch to flouro. The 711 is crazy versatile. Hello, Friend!
Do you looking fo 34 mm spool? For what: PE line or Fluorocarbon?
For PE line you can look at this 34 mm spool with fixed inductor: viewtopic.php?f=65&t=80168
