Still my favorite Zillion. It's good to know the ones I have are still holding their value. HLC spool, Ian Shields tune up, upgraded handle. It is an absolutely beautiful work horse.Slazmo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 1:11 pmOnly Zillion I've managed to snare is a decent 50th anniversary - low production number. The front chrome nose piece chrome peeled off so that was replaced with a J-Dream nose as that's all I could get here in Australia...

I'd have heaps more in my little collection, but for the fact that a trashed and completely corroded out specimen still goes for $200 and up isn't my cup o' tea...

Get your kids hooked on fishing, and they'll never have any money for drugs or alcohol.

Kinda pedestrian on the exterior, all the upgrades are internal - 8.1 Gear Set, Hi-Speed Levelwind, ZPI Bearings, Carbontex Drag of course. It's got a few miles on it but still solid as ever. Running the stock spool but have some spacers on the way so I can try some 34mm spools now. Sits on my 916C and is my Punch/Flip/Heavy Frog rod, as well as swimbaits and 'bama rigs, although I never throw those .
