It didn't translate into much other than it will be updated for 2020.

The only thing I wanna know is brass or aluminum gears.

I watched the video, it looks a lot like a refreshed metanium

from the video im going to guess the new met. if it is a solid body design like the bantam it should be really comfortable to palm. if it was a bantam dc would it have the open svs adjustment like the one in the video has? ive noticed most of the dc reels do not have that on the side plate of the reel.

I think it would have to be? Since the frame is solid aluminum I am not sure where else they could put the dial aside from that one removable "sideplate" piece of the frame.

I think so too. They could make some sort of cutout in the frame but then the dial would have to stay in while the DC unit can be taken off and that would make things even more complicated.

What the reel test guy didn’t point out - the front opening of that new bantam variant cuts way deeper into the frame. So we have a whole new frame coming in? Still DC? I’d prefer a pike-sized bantam
