Case for spinning spool?

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Case for spinning spool?

Post by lifeofRiley » Wed Sep 11, 2019 11:06 pm

A buddy gave me a simms gear bag and I've been packing it with all my trout gear. The bag is soft inside, but wondering if any of you have a case for a 2500 spool? Something to keep it from clinking off knives, flashlights, etc, etc. Also would come in handy in my boat.

A vitamin bottle - re-purpose for carrying spools...tacky but gets the job done.
