New Antares

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

How would you think the reel is holding up to that kind of abuse? I am assuming you have upgraded to a longer handle? Can you compare the reel to any of the following models?

Its built like a fine rolex and will handle heavier just fine. Compared to my Bantam MGL it's better casting and more refined. Dont think daiwa has anything that compares that I've used lately. Maybe a jdream.
