Daiwa Lexa HD 300 vs 400

Post by KooyaKey » Sun Jul 28, 2019 8:18 am

Hey all! Looking at purchasing a Lexa HD for tossing some swimbaits as well as some lighter saltwater fishing. Cannot seem to find size comparisons or dimensions. Is the much 300 bigger than a Tatula SV103? Will the 400 be overkill? Mounting on a 7'11 XH rod. Thanks!

The Lexa 300 is a bit bigger than Daiwa's freshwater baitcasters. It's palmable but noticibly larger than a Tatula. A 300 is perfect for larger swimbaits and light saltwater fishing. A 400 would be too big for your purposes.

You can kind of see the difference there, but the 400 is way overkill

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Seems the 300 will fit the bill. Made the mistake of comparing a Lexa 400 and Tranx 400.
