T3 ballistic

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

T3 ballistic

Does anyone know how expensive it would be to replace the "hood" on a T3 ballistic roughly?

I hear you can't get the part.
This is the way.

Not sure if it matters but, LH or RH?

I got a "parts" T3 sliver. I still have a T3 in my linueup and this one is missing a small C clip that connects across the small brass bar on the hood by the TWS. Its used to push the line intonthe small part of the TWS when reeling.

Assuming you can still get them, it's +/- 20$. I've replaced a couple 1016 hoods that were either 14$ or 24$.
