Tranx 300

It's winter, all the lakes are iced over, and I've got money burning a hole in my pocket. Wondering what people think about the tranx or other larger reels for bass fishing? Sounds like a deal for swimbaits and such. Any comments on gear ratios or handles?

I use a Tranx PG for throwing Huddleston, Deps and other medium sized trout swimbaits. I did add a few upgrades to it but I always seem to have issues loading photos here on TT. If you like the Tranx 300 but want something a little different, check out the Grappler 300, the JDM equivalent and a bit cheaper at Digitaka.
