It’s got a cheap eBay cork knob handle now, love it.

Very nice! I did a few things to mine when I tore it apart. Carbontex, levelwind bearings, Abec 5's and a few cosmetics. That was what was good about that kit, it comes with a carbontex washer for below the gear as well. I hadn't even thought about the spool being magforce v. You will be set with z
