Daiwa Zillion 50th Anniversary drag star

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Guys can someone help me out and give me the part number for this drag star, it should be different than the normal TD Zillion reel but I can't find it.

The 50th drag star doesn't have a brass center insert like the standard OG Zillion star . The 50th drag star is several grams lighter than the OG Zillion star, and a lighter silver (not gunmetal) color. This is the main reason why Daiwa lists a lighter weight for the 50th versus the OG Zillion.
The Zillion Type-R star is much better than both in terms of ergonomics in my opinion. I have about 8-10 of the Type-R drag stars on various OG Zillions and other Daiwa reels. They are my favorite. The Tackle Trap usually has them in stock.
I put my 50th star on an older Daiwa that my kids use.

This is my take on the 50th.
