Wording on a TD-Z

I don't have mine in front of me but a friend just asked me if the side plate lettering on a TD-Z was a sticker or painted on with a stamp or something, I was under the impression it was painted on but truth be know I really don't know... can anybody shed some light on this..?

Yeah stencil it’s to clean and crisp to not be . It’s a template they paint over

There's a company here that makes high def stickers think I'll give him a try. Thinking about painting a couple of beaters but don't want to lose the lettering...

Any big chain hobby store art crafts should have stencil making material . Keep us posted on progress

It's actually a waterslide decal. Those can be DIY, too.
