Re: Aftermarket handles
Shimano. Metanium XG(silver) or Chronarch XG(black) handles are both 96mm I believe and very cheap for just the handle. Check out Shimano’s parts ordering site.
Re: Aftermarket handles
The Ray's DIY carbon fiber handles are pretty cheap coming in around $30. I have a few and they have great. Visually they look like the ZPI handles.
Re: Aftermarket handles
Hawgtech makes a decent, reasonably priced handle with different accent color options, even cork knobs. Brian.
Are you fishing or aimlessly casting around?

I've been eyeing these quite a bit lately! Seem's like an inexpensive solution to shave a tiny bit of weight and add some extra length. I'd stay away from those cheap ray's/aliexpress handles. I broke every one that I brought (4 total?). The layers started to peel and the handles had a bit of play.
Re: Aftermarket handles
Odd. Ive got 2 from rays that get banged around in my rod locker and deck and show no wear or chipping.
Re: Aftermarket handles
The few Rays handles I have have been great but the reels they are on have been babied/stored indoors.
Re: Aftermarket handles
I had one from Rays that saw heavy use on my Zillion. It did start to show excessive wear and had evidence of coming apart. I replaced it, thought maybe I got just a bad one.
