New reel advice

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

New reel advice

Im looking to get a new reel for my st coix legend elite 7’6” med light not sure if I should get the Stella C2500SHG or the daiwa exist 2000 and advice?

I'd go the Exist personally. I'm not a fan of the recurring bandaid perforations on the spool like the '10 Stella. Have a look around and see if you can get a deal on the '15 Exist or the Stella FI. You won't go wrong either way.

Of the two I'd get the Stella with the 2500 spool, on longer rods I like the 3000 spools.
