Daiwa Luvias 2500H spool options

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Daiwa Luvias 2500H spool options

Postby scrapiron » Mon Aug 06, 2018 10:47 am

I have a Luvias 2500H with the deep aluminum spool and was wondering what Air ABS spools would fit. I have the USDM model. Looking at Hedgehog Studio, the 2004 looks like it would fit the bill to give me a finesse spool.

Or would I need to stick with the USDM model spools (1003 or the 2510PE-H)?

Thanks-

I don't imagine a 2004 or any other 2000 size spool would fit, nor the 1003 which is even smaller. You would need a 2500 size spool, so a 2506 is probably the shallowest you could find.

Well that does make sense! :D Thanks.

I think the 15 LUVIAS 2506H S is the ticket for a finesse spool.
