Daiwa coastal 100h

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Post by Moosehead » Wed Jul 25, 2018 8:39 pm

My kid just saw a Daiwa reel he wants and I never heard of it. It a Daiwa baitcaster coastal 100h, it's like $100 bucks..I can't really find out anything else but I think it look much newer than the Daiwa advantage coastal I gave him..can anyone shed some light on this?

Is it the 100ha? I've seen them for less $50 but I use tatula type R reels instead for inshore use, the coastal 100ha have the polymer frame like the aird spinning reels and I was not impressed.
