An ubelievable kick in the teeth

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

and I thought this was gonna be some kick to the gear teeth since it's in the reel section.

LOL. I'm not a pack rat, but there are things I don't throw away nor will accept anyone who wants to toss it...fishing related things.

I'm ordering 2 basszone handles tomorrow. $50 apiece, so $100 for two reels worth $150. Daaang.. they would have looked perfect with the Zillion drag stars and Zillion handles....he doesn't need a handles that's bearing supported...just crap...

Why not put a 90mm zillion sv or tatula sv handle on them? They’re like $20 from Tackle Trap. Ask to talk to Bryan (Spankey)

I'll have to give my wife credit, after her mother threw away a box of mine with fishing lures in it, she sets anything to side for me to go through unless she knows for sure its junk.

The main issue here is us . If they only knew what it actually cost they wouldn’t touch it . That being said if they knew we wouldn’t have anything

Well I put the Zillion drag stars on the two Tierras. They look great, big thanks to Spanky, I decided to wait on the swept handles, I will look around and see if I can't find two used TD Zillion handles, or two used Advantage HSTA handles. I'm gonna ask Spanky if he has two SOL cc knobs for the Tierras, they look a little darker and not so cheap.

Apparently finding two Zillion non bearing supported handles or an Advantage HSTA swept bearing supported handles along with two factory Fuego or Sol cast control knobs is next to impossible...I thought for sure that when everybody was buying TD Zillions and putting carbon fiber handles on them they shoved the old reel handles in a box like I did...I guess all their wives threw out their stuff too...
