Do aftermarket handles like zpi and rcs typically come with knob bearings, then you just buy knobs?

Not usually, unless the knobs are already on the handle.

I just got the new SLP works 95mm carbon handle from japan tackle and it came w 4 bearings, a retainer, and screw. Looks to be sold out already though. http://japantackle.com/tuning-parts/han ... 00206.html

Shimreels has a carbon one. Pricey, though.
This is the way.

It's really sweet that the RCS carbon handles come with all of the goodies. I didn't realize that the new ones have so much included. It looks like Hedgehog-Studio has them. The picuture shows all of the goodies.

I bought the gunmetal aluminum handle for one of my OG Zillion's a few months ago. It is nice that it comes with the nut and retainer. The wrench is nice also. It's a pretty good value.

Nice! The 90mm swept carbon handle is exactly what I'm looking for. Then just buy rcs knobs. Thanks man

Just a heads up the 95 mm Slp works handle was slightly lighter than my 80 mm stock steez sv tw handle. Not by much, but it looks and feels much better in my opinion.

I'm not fond of the 80mm handles either. 90mm is right for me. The SLP Works carbon fiber handles are beautiful on that Steez, but they won't save you much weight vs. the SLP Works aluminum handles. The best value is the Tatula or new Zillion cutout handles. I believe they are only about .5 grams heavier than the SLP Works aluminum handles, according to my scale, and can be had for a little over $20. The only way that you will usually save much weight in a handle is if you are replacing an old non-cutout Daiwa handle with brass posts and tire grip rubber knobs (ie OG Zillion). Those old 90mm handles weigh about 34g and the latest 90mm Zillion handle with I-Shape knobs weighs about 22g.

Yeah I have a few of those handles too. They are pretty nice for the price, but I wanted to deck this steez out.

Nice! That slp handle looks sick. I guess I'm more concerned with rigidity and aesthetic. The weight reduction isn't a huge factor for me.
