Daiwa 60th Anniversary reels

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Daiwa 60th Anniversary reels

I was on JapanTackle.com looking at the show pictures and Jun mentioned that he is looking forward to the 60th Anniversary Daiwa models. Does anyone know what might be coming down the line for the year? I am also wondering why Megabass hasn't released a Steez TW variant yet. Thanks!

because they have lots of old frames to work with.. look at all the Luada being made.

Go to the Daiwa global site and pick the Japan site. There is information there. You can navigate to different pages. It looks like a lot of red. Here is one page:

Yep, some 60th rods as well I see on the Daiwa Japan website.

I would like a Steez SV TW with the side plates color coded to the ratio. Gold for 6.3, red for 7.1' and purple for 8.1.
