2016 daiwa certate 2510 vs twin power 3000 xd

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

2016 daiwa certate 2510 vs twin power 3000 xd

Im in the market for a new inshore reel for mainly trout and reds. Ik both of these reels are overkill but I want something really nice (I already have a luvias, stradic, and a sustain). So which reel is better in your opinion. Which reel do you think lasts longer, is more corrosion resistant (will mainly be fishing from a kayak so lots of splashing), and is more smooth and free spinning especially under load and over time and heavy usage?
Thanks

I have both reels and would lean towards the Certate. If you want more power, go with the 2510RPE, the "R" means 3000 size body and 2500 size spool and rotor. You really can't go wrong with either, but the characteristics you asked for is closer towards the Certate.
