Does anyone here think they will make the Curado K in a smaller version.

I hope so too, I have no idea why companies are so tight lipped about the new releases. Let us drool now and save up lol

Comment every time I see a topic relating to this, I think that would be close to one of the best reels imaginable for the price point of around $200... Needs: MGL spool or something lighter than the 15.7 gram spool of the 70. Needs the extra main shaft bearing support like the Curado K has, and a 90mm handle. Maybe a new color scheme to set it apart.

One can only hope this happens...

Wonder if it would be a wait until ICAST situation or maybe they would drop news at the classic??? Personally I feel they will try and sell the Curado K for another year or so before bringing something new in... The original 70 still sells so good and the K is selling very good I assume. That's why it is hard for me to not just get another Chronarch MGL or Zillion SV TW. They are much bigger reels, but with the right line and rod, maybe some braid backing for even lighter weight, they will toss light lures just fine.
