Thanks! They really look and feel nice in hand, especially on the Tatula Elite rods which continue to be very well received at their price point. TTT sold out the Sterling model quickly and no more are to be had at this point unfortunately, but I will say that the entire Daiwa LT line up is a nice step forward from Daiwa. From the Fuego to the Ballistic, they all have been getting really positive feedback from our customers and staff.

2506 Emeraldas, LT SS 3000-CXH, LT 3000-CXH. Tatula LT 3000's same size as older Daiwa's 2500's.

One just arrived the other day from TTT and I have another on order from another site since TTT sold out. Is there going to be a bait casting version too?

2500/2508 is a good size , I know you mentioned to me it was 6.8 when you weighed it . Daiwa website says 6.2 but 3000lt says 6.5 oz .. it’s pretty off specs wise .

No problem.

Could be my scale... ? I weighed it twice. I might bring it to work where we have higher quality calibrated scales down to thousandths of an ounce. I will try to do it tomorrow.

That would give us an accurate weight indeed, the specs didn’t sound right to me in the first place lol

Took my new Sterling out today and I am very impressed. Super smooth retrieve and under load it’s awesome , the color is very nice and it feels worth a lot more than the $199 price tag. To me it’s noticeably smoother than the LT series , 2 bearings on the knob and one on the main shaft. I can certainly feel
the difference between the two. I have it paired up with a 7’0 steez medium spinning rod and it balances very well. I would not hesitate to buy another one in a heartbeat.

Tatula LT - .410lbs = 6.56oz

I disagree...I think Daiwa has become more competitive in the market against Shimano and the new spinning lineup seems so far to be really nice.

I agree , light smooth and powerful . This sterling will take the Stradic and sustain to school any day hands down.

I asked for an e catalog from my friend at a distributor just so i can have all the info in the same place.
Lots of incorrect information in the descriptions.
I usually use weights as a ball park.
Shimano has been way off as has penn
it sucks when it's in the super light freshwater reels as we all want the crazy light stuff....I thought i weighed my tatula lt 2000 and it came in spot on..i have to double check..but it's in pieces
