Daiwa 2018 SV LIGHT LTD-TN

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

A steez that looks like a steez! They should do a JDM special re-run of the OG framed Zillions a limited paint scheme too, now that I would put some serious cash down for!

Based on SS SV
Spool is 32mm in diameter. So opens options for spool options for those that own Air reels from Daiwa

Strange what Megabass didn't come with new reels yet.
IP68/79 still listed as current models...

Not necessarily ruin, I expected Megabass come up with own version of the new Steez TW/ TW A reels.

Yeah, hopefully they remove the TWS system when they do.

I agree, the steez lost its Steezyness due to the T-wing and now resembles yet another tatula offspring, they need to do back to the original shapes frames, OG Zillion for Zillion, Steez for steez, not tatula for everything. Look at almost all of the whole AUDM lineup and the only thing that looks different is the alphas.

I feel the Steez SV TW is better than the generations prior. What is wrong with the current T Wing? I have plenty of T Wings reels and the only gripe would be with a long leader (knot). The new Steez is brilliant

Sexiness aside, which is personal preference, the new Steez platform blows the old clean outta the water in terms of both comfort and performance. I'm not sure how anyone who had used both could argue against that. I get some folks don't care for the T wing. I was hesitant at 1st as well. Wouldn't want to live without this reel now.

The performance of the TWS is amazing, but I just prefer the old steez to the new one, but hey when the next new thing in daiwa comes along we will all be saying I liked the look of the old ___ better than the new one!

The paint job looks cheap.
