This poor reel

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

I've noticed that too. I think it has a lot to do with a lot of Japanese anglers fishing from the bank and the reels getting put on the ground with little regard for the reels finish. That suits me just fine though, some of my favourite reels are ones that are really rough looking but have been tuned to perform.

Yeah. Picked up my last TD-Z 105H from Japan. The part below the line guide had almost all the finish peeled off. Sent it to Ian before using, He said it was dry inside. Still looks kind of bad from the front, but casts like a champ. :mrgreen:
