13 Fishing Concept Z

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

They will be available at most 13 Fishing retailers in early February...demand is off the charts.

Salesman, and select pro-staff are doing Demos all over the country letting anglers cast the Z. Expect plenty of reviews, and unbiased angler feedback flooding in as we get closer to launch date.

I'm very interested to see how they turn out. I am at times skeptical of new tech, but starting to come around to new innovations. The only 13 fishing reels I have been around are the Concept C (friend owned on a deep crank rod) and it would absolutely dump the spool with a 6XD.

The Concept Z has a deeper spool than the other Concept reels.

I am hesitant to pull the trigger before I've heard what TT anglers think of it. Buk, buk, buk, chicken!

Yep, for now its hard to leave the 2 brands I am stuck on... I fully plan on trying more brands one day when money frees up a bit. Or when there are awesome reviews... Guess you were right...

Confession...I order one from TW. The 7.3:1 right hand.
The website says it'll be in stock Dec. 30 now, so...fingers crossed.
I'm wondering if the handle knobs will have the same bearing material for bushings.

We added the deep spool in the development process because we were casting all the line off the spools.
