TD Zillion Type R & Phenix UMBX

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Hi guys,

I want to buy a combo from someone...
Rod: Phenix UMBX 700 H - custom made
Reel: TD Zillion Type R

I want to use it for pike fishing with plastic shad till 12 cm and sliders till 10 cm and 45 gr.

I'm at the begining of casting and this will be my first combo.

Sounds good bro. You can't go wrong with a TD Zillion. You may have a bit of an issue throwing 45g. on that MBX, I think it is rated to 1.5oz. or 42g. But if it feels good, sling it!! Good Luck with the pike!
