Tatula and Tatula HD Spools.

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Does the standard Tatula spool fit in the HD model?

I'm pretty certain the Tatula HD has a slightly wider frame so the OG Tatula spools don't fit.

My Type R spool fits in my Tatula HD and turns/retrieves fine... Issue is that there is a gap around the spool (tatula HD spool is slightly taller) and I am not sure that the brakes sync up though they look the same in the sideplate. On the other hand, the tatula HD spool will not even go into the frame of the original Tatula Type R.
