Daiwa Prorex Spinning reels

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Daiwa Prorex Spinning reels

Post by dv1 » Sun Aug 06, 2017 7:07 am

I have been considering buying some of the Daiwa SS 1300 reels since I use almost all braid now on spinning reels and would like to try a spinning reel that cross wraps line. But, I would miss the infinite antireverse feature. I see Daiwa has new spinning reels in Europe that have cross wrap on them. I think they released a Zaion version this year as well (models here are HardBodyz, aluminum). Anyone here try these models ever?

There is a real good reason Daiwa keeps on making these reels. (Daiwa SS /7001300 rees). Their performance is legendary!
