Shimano Curado 200K is available for preorder now

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

They should have made it shiny black instead of matte black

Matte Black Curado matches the matte black G. Loomis IMX Pro, E6X etc rods that they are destined to go on! :D

yeah , that's true.

on a side note.

I find it hard to believe that they will leave the old tooling in place at the factory to keep cranking out the citica i series...maybe they will have a new citica come icast. I'll be there Wed the 12th to see :D

Even though the spool is green, it looks awful close to the same as the i... do they have the same line capacity.

I noticed that too...how bizarre not to have a cranking model...but maybe soon to be released?

I think the Citica I is going to be left as is, Shimano seems to be separating the 50s and Curado/Citica line which is a good thing IMO.

Hmmm
More compact and micro module gearing ? Interesting

Hope someone posts the curado I vs curado k profiles soon.

I like the black reels which is why I purchased the scorpion 71 instead of curado 71.
