1016 vs SV 103 spools for TDZ

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

1016 vs SV 103 spools for TDZ

They're the same price at tackletrap and I really like the SV in my SV103. I'll be using it for cranking. What's going on with the 1016? I was told it's a popular spool, but I know nothing about it. How much more line does it hold? thanks

I guess the Daiwa Zillion SV TW G1 Duralumin SV Spool fits also and it's the same price. Not sure of the difference between the Duralumin and the SV 103 spools.

G1 is a little lighter. I think braking profiles (inductors) are very similar, over 3/8 should be no difference really. I have heard owners of both say the Zillion SV is just a tad less braked so it casts a tad further and barely easier.
