I’ve done a bunch of swapping with Inductors, springs, and lower blocks just to see what different results I get. As mentioned the range of motion isn’t the same on the Ray’s. A stock SV105 spool with upgraded inductor block is a good combination. Pair that with the stiffer spring and the reel definitely wakes up. I’ve just gotten into the habit of swapping the lower block out for the newer ones on any spool I get that has the old style. I fished this entire season and haven’t had another stuck inductor since finding out about the newer version.
This. I sent to Daiwa for the 105, will probably just order the part for the SS/SV (if I don't have a new spool by then), I figure all the newer high end SV spools will be that way... From the looks of it though, the Tatula SV doesn't have that white inductor ramp???

We now have the inductor ramps in stock and ready to ship, so if and when you're ready, you can avoid those high EMS fees.
