carbon handles

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Could someone suggest a reasonable priced carbon fiber 90-100 mm handle for my Daiwa that has a 80mm handle,or what is considered top of the line replacement handle.

I use the Ray's Studio DIY carbon fiber handles and re-use my knobs. They're very reasonable at $28 but not what I would call top of the line. Build quality is on par with other mass produced factory equipped carbon handles such as Abu, Banax, Daiwa, Dawon, Doyo, Haibo ect. If you would like a really high end product you'll have to look elsewhere.

I like the Steez 100 EX handles from TTT. They're metal, but very light.

The newer style Basszone Skeleton 90mm Carbon Fiber handles are my current favorite. Look nice and sleek. Comes with knobs, bearings, retainer, and nut for under $50. Perfect match with the new Zillion SV TW. Stock retainer even works with it.
