Swimbait Reel

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

A light 200 series, so you have enough line capacity, but it's not an anchor.
Lew's BB2 is on sale at TW:

All they have left are left handed reels, but you can see the specs, and can find a righty online somewhere if that's what you need.

Yeah those aren't big lures so a 200 size reel would do the job. Zillion HD would be a good option because of its 100mm handle size

I use Shimano Curado's for swimbaits. The 200 & 300 series are very good. Smooth as silk, castes well and has pretty good stopping power. Practically maintenance free, just rinse and add a drop of oil to a few key locations.
YMMV

go gettum!

A Curado would be fine for those.

+1 on 200 series curados. Had a scorpion version that handled baits well in the categories you stated.
