DIY carbon handles

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

I've got a few on some Daiwas and I really like them. They are sold in Daiwa, Shimano and Abu configurations. Daiwa and Abu share the same size handle shaft but the Abu knob shafts are larger on the Abu handle. The Shiman and Daiwa handles have the same sive knob shafts but have different sized openings for the handle crank. The knob shafts are not riveted in in place and can be removed and swapped out to a knob shaft of a different diameter if you would like.
