Question for you Daiwa guys!

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Question for you Daiwa guys!

Post by VegasNative » Thu Sep 22, 2016 1:37 pm

So I am currently considering a steez.

I was wondering if daiwa is still producing the non t wing system steez ?

Tackle warehouse hasn't put them on sale or anything like that so I was just curious.

In case there is any confusion this is the reel I am talking about http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Daiwa_St ... er_reviews

I'm sure somebody can better confirm, but since it is still listed on Daiwa's website as a current model, I would say yes.

The Steez SV is still available, yes.

However, if you want a Steez, I'd seriously consider the new Steez SV TW, it's an extremely impressive reel I'm thoroughly enjoying. Get in touch with The Tackle Trap for Tackle Tour member pricing on this, or any other Daiwa reels!

Absolutely. It's the nicest reel I've ever used. Never used a Steez SV, but had an SS SV and the Steez SV TW blows it clean out of the water.
