ICAST
Re: ICAST
I heard most of the stuff coming from Daiwa will be saltwater. Most of the stuff they released at the classic.
At least that's what I was told when I was at Daiwa last week. They may come out with something but who knows.

Not to sure about rods. The only thing they released at the classic was the Cronos which I really like. I have switched some of my Tatula's for Cronos rods. The rod I wish they would bring over is the Black Label but they can't due to the name. Why they don't rebrand them and bring them here I don't understand. Omori fishes some of the Black Label rods.
The one thing about the Cronos rods I like is that they came out with longer lengths. The 7'6" spinning rod is awesome.

I agree on the black label. Supposedly the Zillion-2nd Gen is suppose to be the equivalent. As far as blank goes. That is why I hope that they do not go away.big_gee wrote:Not to sure about rods. Didn't hear anything on Daiwa yet, but there's a new Revo MgXtreme, which weighs 4.5oz...

I was looking into the Cronos too, but the blank detered me. How does the HVF blank compare to SVF?big_gee wrote:Not to sure about rods. Specifically states alloy frame and graphite sideplates. Not that it matters to me as I do not buy Abu but it certainly isn't all "plastic".MardukFIN wrote:Ha ha ha.
