Alphas sv spool
Alphas sv spool
Has anyone compared the alphas sv spool to old alphas spools? I have an alphas Ito spool and man I love this spool, but wondering if the alphas sv spool is any better? Let me know whatcha got

IMO the sv version blows the ito ai spool away.

Really? I have the Steez 105 spool and I think the Ito spool can cast a little further

I guess it depends on your definition of "better". Are you looking for distance? Control? Light weight baits? The SV spools excel with control and lighter baits. The AI spool has the R+ inductor so it will be more wild than the SV, but cast further. I prefer the R+ for overhand casting and the SV for pitching and skipping. Thats not to say I dont pitch and skip with an R+ or overhand with an SV though.lvang24 wrote:Really? I have the Steez 105 spool and I think the Ito spool can cast a little further

I like the R tuned stock TD Ito spool better than the Steez SV105 spool too, but the Alphas SV gets my vote over the Ito Ai spool.lvang24 wrote:Really? I have the Steez 105 spool and I think the Ito spool can cast a little further
