I have a chronarch 50e that I would like to dress up a little.
Does any one know if a core 50 thumb bar will fit the ch50e
Has any one successfully done this.

Yes it will, its a pretty easy swap. Ive done it to my Curado 50. Heres a pretty sick Chronach 50 that has the thumbar swapped.

Awesome. Looks exactly how I hoped it would. So it's a direct swap? All I would need to order is the thumb bar?

One screw holds it on. Just remove the spool and you can get to the screw. Takes about a minute to swap.

Regarding the thumb bar- I have a brand new one (Chrome from Core 50) sitting in a parts tray that will never get any use again. PM me if you want it, just pay shipping. I also have a nearly new 7:1 gear set with the aluminum key washer that could take a hike as well for a small donation.

the CH 50E, Curado 50E, Core 50, Scorpion XT1000 all have interchangeable parts.My CH 50 has a Core 50 7.1 gear set and handle

Does anyone knows why this hedgehog Duralumin Clutch Lever for core 50 Mg listed as not compatible with Scorpion1000?

"most parts of CHRONARCH 50E, Curado 50E, and Scorpion XT1000 are interchangeable. However Core 50Mg is different from those types of reels. So the "Duralumin Clutch Lever - ALD" doesn't fit '10 Scorpion XT 1000." - Hedgehog Studio

My apologies for bumping an older thread but I am wanting to swap the core 50 thumb bar to my Curado 50E and just wanted to verify that I all I need the thumb bar part #BNT4056 ? They are currently showing out of stock with a restock date of 12/12/15

Are there any other smaller upgrades I should be doing?

I am still puzzled, if shimano core 50mg7 clutch parts fits scorpion and chronarch 50, why hedgehog version of clutch does not fit scorpion and chronarch, but fine for core 50mg7 ... Really like hedgehog part

Yes the thumb bar is all you need. Small upgrades? Sure you can do a new gear set, bearing, spool, handle, carbontex drag. It goes on and on lol...

This seems weird to me as well, even in the disassembly pics everything looks identical to the other 50's

btw, does tapered TI level wind from core 50 mg fits ch50 or it is completely different part?
