Best Performing 2500-size Spinning Reel Under $200

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

I don't know why Abu stopped making this reel.

- They still make them... now it's called the Penn Conquer. It's hard enough to find spinning reels with both a metal body and rotor, but the conquer is all aluminum, even the roller arm... the vast majority are plastic. Should help smooth out the drag. Some of the larger models have as many as 4 drag washers.
