STX Gen 3 drag/tension click?

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

STX Gen 3 drag/tension click?

Post by 78Staff » Thu Oct 11, 2012 7:11 pm

Searched but couldn't find this, does the Gen3 STX have clicking spool tension and drag? I assume yes on the drag but not sure on the spool tension.

Looking at this or the Lews Tourney Pro... Leaning towards the Revo since they have multiple ratio's in LH, but just not sure. Lews may have nicer handle and definitely has clicking drag/tension, but only 28 ipt in LH.

Even the new Revo S has clicking spool and drag adjustments.
